The UK’s No. 1 Christian Music Competition is back for a third season. Auditions for this year’s show will be held in London, Manchester and Birmingham.
There are four stages to the competition, the first stage being the initial auditions. Contestants who make it through this stage get to perform again on the same day later in the evening at the regional finals before a studio audience and our panel of judges. Although members of the audience will get the opportunity of voting for their favourite contestants, it is the judges who will get to decide which of the contestants make it through the regional finals. Our regional finalists will perform for the UK public at the quarter finals, when our semi-finalists will be selected. The winners of Just out of this World 2011 will be chosen by a combination of the public vote and our panel of judges and will be revealed at the finals on the 10th of September.
Soloists, group acts and choirs performing in all genres of Christian music are welcome. The show will be broadcast on UCB TV, increasing exposure for the contestants. Semi-Finalists receive training in vocal skills and performance, interview skills and how the music industry works. They also get the opportunity of performing before millions each week and be mentored through the competition by experienced recording artists .
