Grace Campbell who was taught how to sing by her father grew up singing in the praise and worship band in her local church. In 2004, Grace, her sister Hildia and her niece Corene entered the 1st series of the X-Factor competition as “Voices With Soul” and became one of the final 6 contestants left standing out of over 50,000 applicants that registered as contestants on the ITV Saturday night show.
Voices With Soul has been on tours around the UK with the X Factor 2004 finalists including the group G4. They have also performed at various Festivals and Corporate events and still perform around the country.
Grace comes from a family of 16, her mum Leonie gave birth to 10 children and adopted 6 more. Her late father, Elder Egbert Campbell, was a founding Pastor of Four Winds Ministries and pioneered the first Black Pentecostal church in Luton. His funeral in 1996 was one of the largest Luton had ever seen.
Grace is described by friends as friendly and caring with a great sense of humour. She is currently acting in an African theatre production to be staged in October 2009.
