Considered one of the UK’s rising and talented gospel artists, Roger Samuels known nationwide and internationally has been singing for 5 years now and is making an impressive influence in the UK Gospel scene. Roger has shared the stage with acts such as; Damien Marley, Deniro, Mary Mary, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp and Juanita Bynum…. Roger Samuels will be performing at the Birmingham Regional Finals on Saturday the 28th of May

ADELAIDE MACKENZIE is considered one of Britain’s great singing sensations with her distinct jazz style and vibrant personality. Based in South London, Adelaide started singing at the tender age of 10. Coming from a culture of Sound Systems she was exposed to Reggae, Rare-grove and Pop Music. Her uncle was a professional dancer and encouraged her mother to send Adelaide to a singing tutor where she sang with the London Jazz Orchestra and developed her vocals.


Chip Kendall

Chip Kendall

Chip Kendall (formerly of thebandwithnoname) is a singer/songwriter/communicator who’s passionate about modelling something great for this generation. His unique and infectious live performances feature songs from his debut solo EP ‘K is for Kendall’, ranging from pop-rock and punk to epic ballads and even a bit of storytelling. Chip Kendall will be performing live at the Manchester Regional Finals on Saturday 14th of May)

This Dynamic group based in Nottingham self produced their first EP in 2010. They headlined and hosted a show called “The Nottingham Gospel Movement”, performing alongside featured London acts including Tunday and Tripple O. Hip hop is the core style of the group and they take pride in the fact that there are no solo’s in their self- composed tracks. They always act as a balanced group either singing or rapping collectively

Over the years Roger has performed at numerous Concerts and festivals. His most recent festivals have been the Leeds Festival and the Big Pay Out. Through recent touring in the US and Jamaica, Roger Samuels has added live performances in Atlanta and on the TBN network to his achievements. Not to mention the live collaboration with the seven-time Grammy award winning gospel singer, Andrae Crouch.

Roger has also had the privilege of writing for the UK’s very own Wayne Hector and DaVinci as well as recently performing at the Morris Cerullo World Conference in 2010. He has gained accolade from major labels like, Universal Music Group and Sony BMG and is working on his soon to be released album.

Adelaide Mackenzie is considered one of Britain’s great singing sensations with her distinct jazz style and vibrant personality. Based in South London, Adelaide started singing at the tender age of 10. Coming from a culture of Sound Systems she was exposed to Reggae, Rare-grove and Pop Music. Her uncle was a professional dancer and encouraged her mother to send Adelaide to a singing tutor where she sang with the London Jazz Orchestra and developed her vocals.

In 1993 Adelaide embarked on a successful career in the performing arts and music field, and sang a cover of the legendary Boys 2 Men track ‘End of the Road’ at the Hackney Empire for the talent show ‘291 Club’. Adelaide later went on to attend the Brit Performing Arts School also attended by stars such as Leona Lewis, where she also took guitar and piano lessons. While attending the school, she also had the opportunity of performing alongside acclaimed Imogen Heap.

In 1995 continuing under the artist name Adel, Adelaide went on to re-record ‘Love Me Down’ produced by Simply Silk and released on Jungo Beat label and in 1996 recorded another composition entitled ‘Luvin U’, again produced by Simply Silk for release on Uppacuts label. In 2004 Adelaide was nominated ‘Best Female Artist’ and ‘He gives Me More’ was nominated for “Best Single” at the GEM awards. In 2005, working alongside Malingga and Otis Kirton Adelaide released and showcased her debut album ‘Daily Process’ with a live band at the infamous Jazz Café and in 2006 she was nominated for “Best Female Artist” by Oasis Music. She then went on to open up the Iyanla Vanzant‘s two nights at Hackney Empire and was then invited to sing at the Miss Jamaica UK Beauty Pageant at the infamous Hammersmith Palais.

In 2008 Adelaide won the credible great Nina Simone ‘Inspirational Artist of the year’ awarded by Black Woman in Arts Foundation. In the same year she was honored to sing at the 40th Anniversary ceremony of Martin Luther King ‘I have a dream event’ held at the Westminster Abbey Cathedral. Recently Adelaide supported Jazzie B at the Wembley Arena for the 2012 Olympics presentation and she also opened up the Tour of the Legendary Frankie Beverley & Maze at the Hammersmith Apollo.

You can find Adelaide encouraging other performers while presenting her self organized Open Mic/Showcase called ‘Blessed Souls UK’ founded in 2007 with the MAC Band.
