Naomi Nicholas

From a young age, 24 year old Naomi has been both influenced and involved with music. Growing up in the Pentecostal church saw Naomi’s passion for music and her faith increase. Within her local church Naomi has been a part of the youth and adult choirs, the worship team, as well as small vocal groups. She has also had some solo performances. Whilst studying for a BTEC National Certificate in Music Technology, Naomi realized that writing and recording songs was what she wanted to do. She took a leap of faith and found herself recording her own material. Naomi’s faith has heavily influenced her music as she writes for Christ, portraying the message of God’s grace, mercy and love. Her aim through her music is to move and connect with lost souls and she believes that through personal experience and the universal language of music, you can show the world that they not alone in their struggles; and that God can take you out of anything, through His love and mercy, if you let Him. Having received a great response from close friends and family, Naomi has kept on writing for God and has never looked back since. Her influences include Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbet, Mali Music and various Neo-soul artists and she derives ideas from a broad range of genres, including funky house, RnB or meaningful worship. Naomi currently sings backing vocals for The Tony Cannam set and is aiming to develop into full time ministry. Naomi attends Barclay Hall Christian Fellowship in Middlesex.
